Description
Ethyl alcohol, Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES) and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) are aggressive for our skin. They alter its normal pH value, leaving it clean of course but also drying it out, depriving it of its own natural defences and leaving it without any protection against aggressive external agents. Other effects caused by these substances are: irritation of the eyes and skin, slowing down of the healing of wounds and pollution of our bodies and the environment. All the products in the Physia range respect our bodies’ state of well-being and the environment and therefore do not use these elements but delicate cleansing substances from natural sources instead. Now cleansing need no longer be synonymous with damaging.


WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?

They are aromatic substances, natural complexes of molecules synthesised by plants using the sun’s energy and present in the form of minute droplets in the leaves, flower petals, fruit skins, resins and wood of plants. They are extremely powerful natural substances which penetrate deep down and whose effects can easily be verified. Essential Oils contain active ingredients which capture and retain all the energy from sunlight and stimulate the processes of renewal.The difficulty in obtaining the oils and the large quantity of plant material necessary (just think, it takes 30 flowers to obtain a single droplet of essential oil of rose), make these precious oils the plant’s equivalent of gold which nature has continued to provide us with for centuries. The Physia range makes the most of the properties of Essential Oils and is based on a number of specific effects that each oil exerts: energising, detoxifying, dandruff clearing, normalising, soothing.
